This privacy notice explains how CODRUS Fire Detection Systems Limited (“CODRUS”) uses and protects information you may give us, in order to comply with Data Protection Acts including the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) from 25th May 2018.

CODRUS works to protect privacy. Any information gathered will only be used in line with this notice. CODRUS may improve this policy in the future. Any revision will be published on our website, showing the date it came into effect.

Why does CODRUS collect information from you?

CODRUS collects information for contractual purposes and legitimate interest as a company operating on a B2B basis. We only collect information relevant to these purposes.

What information do we collect?

We collect information when you are an employee, customer or potential contract holder. This includes, for example, contact details and information we gather about any equipment we maintain (or may be considered to maintain) for you. Information given when making secure payments through our website is handled exclusively by Paypal.

How do we use this information?:

We use the information to aid with the offering & delivery of goods and services, record keeping and to conduct legitimate business interests with you.

How do we keep your data secure and will we share it?

CODRUS works to keep your information safe. In order to do this, we have secure premises, management procedures and document storage (physical & electronic).

We will not pass your information to others, unless legally required to do so by an authority, or when necessary during the course of performing or enforcing the terms of a contract. Such information will be limited only to that required to perform their purpose.

Controlling your information

You may request a copy of any information we currently hold on you. We are happy to comply with genuine requests (for a small fee), once your identity is proven. If you believe information we have about you is incorrect, we will correct this promptly.
